Who We Are

The American Foundation for Children with AIDS (AFCA) is a non-profit organization providing critical support to infected and affected HIV+ children and their caregivers. Since 2005, in collaboration with our in-country partners, we have served tens of thousands of families in underserved and marginalized communities in Africa. Our areas of impact include: medical support, livelihoods, nutrition, educational support and emergency relief. Currently, AFCA is transforming lives in Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Vacation with a Purpose (VWP) provides amazing travel opportunities with unique insights into foreign cultures while offering opportunity for participants to make positive contributions to the world in which we live. Climb Up

Climb Up So Kids Can Grow Up is the umbrella for a series of outdoor events which raise funds which go directly to our programs, helping children affected and/or infected by AIDS. Whether you’re a seasoned or "just starting to get healthy" athlete with a goal to get fit, a corporate or religious group looking for a way to help African children, Climb Up offers challenges of all types.
